The parenting skills support we offer are primarily aimed at giving parents a chance to take time out to reflect on what they are already doing and how they are doing it; it is a bonus when parents learn new skills to help them be better at what they do. In line with our values, we are committed to provide nationally recognised parenting skills programs where necessary in community languages to ensure equality of access to parenting support:
What it’s about?
Positive Parenting is an idea based on the assumption that all children are born good, are altruistic and desire to do the right thing. Knowing that, we can teach and discipline them without breaking their spirit. Once you understand the logic behind your child’s misbehaviour you can then correct their mistaken belief about how to feel loved, powerful and valued in the world.
Positive Parenting teaches discipline that builds your children’s self-esteem, while at the same time correcting their misbehaviour. With a relationship built on trust and mutual respect, you will retain a positive influence with your children through their teen years and into adulthood and get your kids to listen without yelling, nagging, or losing control.
Positive Parenting Solutions gives you the tools you need to finally put an end to exhausting power struggles with your children.
No more tantrums. No more meltdowns. No more guilt.
Become the parent you’ve always wanted to be.

Private coaching
Private coaching is a quick way to get support that targets the exact parenting problem or issue you are having. You (and your partner if you wish) will meet with a Positive Discipline coach about four times. You could have more sessions or fewer sessions, depending on what you want and need. Each session usually takes between 15-30 minutes. You’ll go home with tip sheets to remind you of the strategies you’ve chosen in your parenting plan.
