What we do
  • In house work experience & Work taster sessions: We provide clients with a taster of real life work scenario situations in a non-threatening environment that enables them to learn practical work skills, make mistakes and learn from them.
  • Soft Skills Workshops Help to develop in clients the key soft skills that employers look for when recruiting.
  • 1-2-1 supportEach client will be supported on the programme by a Mentor/Coach who will give direct 1-2-1 support throughout each stage of the programme.
What’s it about?

The ‘Discovering Work’ project addresses the challenges of worklessness through a focus on developing soft skills and providing virtual work experience. It will specifically target those who need a more personalised and indepth support to overcome their fears of employment or learning.

Oldham West.

How you can be involved

Subject to meeting the eligible criteria* you can enrol onto the programme

Agencies can refer people who may benefit from the support.

(*Please note you must be unemployed or seeking work, 18 years and over and living in Oldham)
